Hello!! I’m Taka, born and raised in Japan. When I was 20 years old, I went to America to study English. It was the first time for me to stay long term in another country. I was so excited to experience a different culture because we don’t have a lot of foreigners in Japan at that time for me to know other cultures or backgrounds. I really enjoyed my time in the U.S. and it made me wanted to see more of the world. After I return to Japan for a few years, I had the opportunity to work in Australia for 10 months then 2 years in London. While I was studying and working in a foreign country, I was lucky to meet all kinds of people from all over the world and they supported me through out the time I was abroad. Other then the companions I made, information from the internet also supported me while I was in a new country trying to figure everything out. The information written on blogs were especially helpful to me, I was able to find the answer or solution to my question and trouble. While staying in London I visited more than 11 different countries around Europe. It was after I went abroad then I once again realized how amazing Japan is; how convenient it is and what wonderful culture it has. I became to appreciate Japan more and more and I wanted to tell others about the country that I grew up in. I want more people in the world to have the experience of traveling in Japan and getting to know the Japanese culture, that is why I created this website. I hope it will be helpful for people to learn more about Japan and actually come and visit. Moreover, this time it would be my turn to support you who is currently in or is planning to come to Japan, either for long term or short term.
Hello everyone, my name is Arisa! I was born and raised in Taiwan but have spent a big part of my life in the U.S. and the U.K.; so it’s hard to say where I am from. My family and I have visited Japan very often since I was a little girl so I was familiar with Japan since I was little. I continue visiting Japan even after I went to the U.S; and I became more and more interested in Japan especially that my best friend was Japanese. I picked up the Japanese language and started planning to move to Japan someday. My goal finally came true this spring and I started working in Japan. Japan is a lovely country full of interesting things to do and see. I would like others to have the same amazing experiences as I had when I visited Japan. I want to share what I know with people around the world; for people who have been and who haven’t been to Japan. Hopefully someone would become interested and actually come visit once in their life time! And when they visit, it would be great if the information shared in this website could be of some help. I am doing this purely out of my interest and also because of my friends who are from all over the world! I hope you would enjoy what we are sharing with you!!
